The Roundtable will center on the value of the Violence Interdiction Model as being a cost effective application of methodologies in the integration of limited resources, as in the case of small to midsize businesses. Larger businesses can use the principles to dismantle the "Stove Pipe effect" by integrating, collaborating, synchronizing and coordinating across functional lines as part of a Threat Assessment or Crisis Management process by engaging other managers in demystifying the process. The Roundtable will discuss the importance of management's commitment as outlined by OSHA and the value of resourcing, staffing and supporting the moral and ethical employee expectations of providing for a safe /non violent workplace. As well as helping participants to understand the legal implications of negligence and failing to recognize preventable hazards and situations or failing to address known existing hazards and situations. This is a 90-minute program designed for Directors, Vice Presidents and other Senior Managers. Maximum number of participants - 15.
